Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers 2020 update
The BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed to provide certified or non-certified, licensed or Non-licensed, professionals with CPR skills the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, use of an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Physicians, nurses, Advanced Practice Nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, fire fighters and other allied health personnel.
Adult and pediatric CPR and CPR in Pregnancy
Two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask
Foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious)
Automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update)
Special resuscitation situations
Cardiopulmonary emergencies stroke
Opiod emergencies
